As some of you might know my mother was one of Picasso’s muses in the 1950s and as an artist has also exhibited at David Simon Contemporary. Aware of my work as a ceramicist David invited mum and me to collaborate on a collection of ceramics that would fit seamlessly into this exhibition.
It has been an exciting journey merging our two art forms and the result is a series of ceramic sculptures and vessels inspired by this seminal period of modern art - Fauvism, Cubism and Surrealism. Our unique pieces reflect the work of the great masters that we will be sitting alongside.
Currently. exhibiting together for. the second time in. Castle Cary.
